Let’s focus on your goals, and turn your guitar journey into something awesome.
LESSONS & PricES
How often you have guitar lessons depends on what works best for you and your schedule.
If you're just starting, weekly lessons are perfect to build your skills. As you get more comfortable, you might choose to have lessons every two weeks.
I would recommend a 1 hour lesson for most students, for younger students 1/2 hour may be plenty.
1 Hour - £22
1/2 Hour - £15
I also offer a discount for group sessions, please contact me with details for pricing.
ZOOM/SKYPE
Video lessons are available if you are unable to attend in person. However, I would only recommend this option for more confident players as in-person lesson are invaluable for beginners and provide immediate and tactile feedback on playing technique.
Location
I have a cosy little teaching room in the centre of Swansea. Just turn up with your favourite guitar, i’ve got the rest.
Parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay for the sessions where we have tea and biscuits on tap.
Full address will be given after you have booked your first lesson.
I can travel for lessons provided my calendar allows it. Please message me for updated prices.
About me
My guitar dream started at 3 years old, after hearing “Under the Bridge” by RHCP and U2’s “Lemon” on the family HIFI stack. I didn’t know what instrument was making those magical noises but I knew I needed one!
After a brief stint as a violinist, and after a few years of nagging my parents, I finally opened up a guitar Christmas morning aged 10. Spending all my time practicing I couldn’t wait to see what tricks my next lesson brought me.
At 16 I started teaching a few friends and took on my first full time student at 17. Witnessing the same excitement in my students as I felt during my own lessons is what keeps me passionate about teaching.
For the past 20 years, I've been immersed in teaching, recording, working tech for live shows, and playing in bands. It's been a fulfilling journey that continues to inspire me every day, and if I can help inspire others that is fantastic.

What People Are Saying
“I’d tried to teach myself using youtube videos before meeting Tom but having a real teacher made such a difference. We always focus on what I want to learn which keeps me interested. If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate and just book your first lesson. You won’t regret it.”
— Georgina
“My daughter needed some help with her school music exams. Tommy helped her with her grade pieces and she passed with flying colours. It was really lovely to see her enjoy playing the songs she had struggled with previously.”
— Elliot
“I’ve had lessons with Tom for a few years now and there is always something new to learn. He has helped me learn many songs, sometimes outside my comfort zone, which has made my playing all the better for it.”
